Werner Berger is the oldest North American to climb all of the world’s seven summits, the highest peaks on each of the world’s seven continents. He’s also the second oldest North American to reach the summit of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world.

He’s also a corporate consultant, a motivational speaker, an entrepreneur and this year, he is attempting something few thought was possible — reaching all seven summits in a 12-month period, at the age of 77.
