Susan Silver wrote episodes for some of the greatest TV series from the ’60s and ’70s, including “Mary Tyler Moore,” “Maude,” “Love American Style,” “Room 222,” “That Girl” and many others.

It wasn’t easy for a woman to fight her way into the writing room in those days. She explains how that’s changed. And what’s happened to TV? Are there any good shows on today? You might be surprised at her answer.

These days, Susan is an unofficial spokeswoman for Cougars everywhere. She writes a blog called The Search For Mr. Adequate because she says she’s given up on finding Mr. Right. So how’s the search going? She’ll have an update.
