Twelve years ago, Growing Bolder’s Wendy Chioji fought a very public battle against breast cancer. In the years since that battle, she has been on the frontlines of raising money for cancer research and shining the light on the stories of other survivors in our show, “Surviving & Thriving.” 

She’s also competed in marathons and triathlons, even qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, and traveled the world seeking new adventures. 

Now she’s facing a new challenge. She’s just been diagnosed with a second, unrelated cancer. In an exclusive Growing Bolder interview, Wendy candidly discusses the battle ahead of her and why she’s not afraid.
