Of all the traits people possess, which would you think has been the most important to the development of mankind? Intelligence? Compassion? A cultural anthropologist believes creativity is what truly sets humans apart from all the rest.

Agustin Fuentes is the chair of the Anthropology Department at Notre Dame. He is a National Geographic Explorer and the author of some fascinating books, including Race Monogamy and Other Lies They Told You and his latest, The Creative Spark.

He explains why he believes creativity makes humans stand out from all other species. Plus, find out why he thinks humans have such a strong bond with dogs.
