An estimated 44 million unpaid caregivers in the U.S. provide more than $490 billion in unpaid labor each year. In other words, without the love and dedication of caregivers, the results would be catastrophic. Yet, so many caregivers go unnoticed, unappreciated and unsupported. Alexandra Drane is working to change that. Drane, the co-founder of Archangels, which highlights the tireless work done day in and day out by caregivers, checks in with Growing Bolder to help us all learn about the face of caregiving in this country.
