Friend of Growing Bolder and entertainment icon Carl Reiner has passed away at the age of 98. Before his passing, we were fortunate to have the opportunity to speak with Reiner about his career, winning 12 Emmys and becoming a member of the Television Academy Hall of Fame as the oldest Emmy nominee ever.

He wrote nearly 10 books since turning 90 and starred in the  HBO documentary, If You’re Not in the Obit, Eat Breakfast, a film about people staying active into their 90s and beyond.

And of course, we spoke with Reiner about the show considered by many to be one of greatest situation comedies of all time, The Dick Van Dyke Show.
