Have you ever felt like trying something, only to stop yourself because you think you’re too old to do it? You may be revisiting that thought once you get to know Connie Curry.
After dreaming about it her entire life, she finally took the bold step of trying ice skating at the age of 60, and despite her fair share of falls, she kept at it. Now, at the age of 77, she’s taking the ice in national and international competitions.
She urges people to stop judging themselves so harshly when trying to learn something new. Connie shares some of the other things she learned later in life, including not learning how to read until college! Connie’s incredible example will inspire you to get creative when it comes to making your dreams come true.
Her passion for never giving up, despite some major health issues, will inspire you to keep trying new things and growing as a person.
