Dave Davies is one of the most unpredictable and unforgettable people in rock. You can trace the histories of punk and rock back to his guitar. 

He’s one of the founding members of The Kinks and along with his brother Ray, he created classics like “You Really Got Me” and “Lola.”

He not only survived being a rock star in the 1960s and 1970s, but he also suffered a serious stroke in 2004. 

Now 65, he’s created an autobiographical film called “Mystical Journey” and several must-hear solo records, including his latest “I Will Be Me.” 

He describes the day he had the stroke and how he made the hard, long journey back to music.
