On the eve of the biannual National Senior Games, Growing Bolder talked with two of the top competitors.

Dave Zarco has been described as a walking billboard for one of the fastest growing and most popular sports in the world — badminton.

Dave, who is the regional director of Badminton USA, not only competed at this year’s Senior Games, he helped run them.

He talked to Growing Bolder about the battle to elevate the sport and why he thinks it’s a more natural game than tennis.

W[1224]Respected optometric physician George Schmidt is also a world-class athlete.

He has broken seven World Masters Records and has been the world’s fastest swimmer over 50 several times.

He is also just as passionate of nutritional therapies as he is of competing.

Dr. Schmidt, who has practiced optometry for 29, specializes in nutritional/preventive eyecare and is world renowned for his Web site The EYE SITE. Click here to check it out.
