Delma Cowart was a racecar driver without much of a chance of winning, but with a huge optimistic outlook. But where did he go?

Cowart, who drove car No. 0, didn’t have any corporate backing or much of a chance of making it to the Daytona 500. But that didn’t stop him from enjoying his trip there.

After finally qualifying for the race, Cowart threw a legendary party to celebrate and was known for his upbeat personality as well as the crash that ultimately ended his NASCAR run.

Cowart talks to Growing Bolder about his NASCAR experiences and what really happened on the track that day.
