Dr. Brad Stuart has spent four decades passionately advocating for home-based primary care for the chronically and terminally ill. He believes that to fix American healthcare we first have to fix the end-of-life care model. 

It’s an issue that grows more and more timely with each passing year. America’s 78 million Baby Boomers are losing an average of nearly 5,000 parents every day and that number will continue to rise over the next 20 years as we become the ones facing end-of-life issues.

Dr. Stuart describes the current system and why there are better ways to treat people — not patients — than the old habits of bringing them into the hospital at every turn of their journey.
