Of all the rock stars of the ‘70s, few are as recognizable as Ian Anderson. With his wild hair and compelling stage presence, he is the face of the band Jethro Tull.

Playing the flute on one leg, singing songs that were part prog, folk, blues and rock, Anderson led Jethro Tull to a special place in music history, amassing eleven gold and five platinum albums.

Anderson has always been known for his wit and intelligence. An extended conversation with him is rare, yet always memorable, especially when he takes on the Growing Bolder topic of age, something he says he’s been exploring since Jethro Tull’s very beginning.
