Editors Note: Our friend Dr. Jack Beattie passed away in April of 2016 after battling pulmonary fibrosis. Jack was a beloved member of every community in which he was involved including, Winter Park, Florida, Michigan State University, the University of Michigan, the national and local Orthodonics community and Masters Swimming where he was an icon. He was a humble, gentleman and a good friend to all who knew him.
We feel blessed to be a part of the GB team because we spend our days talking to or in search of ordinary people living extraordinary lives. And what we’ve learned is that anyone can do it. All it takes is passion. And the best thing about passion is that it’s contagious. Dr. Jack Beattie has it. And his family and friends have caught it.
