Frank Condon is a 64-year-old Realtor from California who is one of the top track and field athletes in the world.

At the 2006 World Senior Games, he was at the wrong end of the 60- to 64-year-old age group because he had to compete against athletes four years younger than he is. It didn’t matter. Frank won six medals, taking the gold in the 400m, 800m, 1500m and 3000m events.

His time in the 1500 was the fastest in the world last year.

Frank talked to Growing Bolder about being a nominee for the Geezer Jock of the year and how he rediscovered track and field, the sport of his youth.
