Since the age of two, Glenn Fenster’s son Nyle has been dealing with acute epilepsy. Glenn’s taking a trip from Denver to Miami on a bicycle to raise awareness for his son’s disease.

But this isn’t the first time Fenster has embarked on such a challenging trip. He biked more than 4,000 miles from Seattle to Miami in 2006 and last year took a 2,500-mile trek from Alaska.

Not only does he bike to raise awareness, he’s also started the “Destiny Maker” Foundation. With his son as his motivation, Fenster demonstrates the power one person has on the world.

He shows that it is possible to make a difference alone.

He talks with Growing Bolder about how epilepsy effects Nyle’s life and what other amazing feats he plans on undertaking next.
