Charlie has been behind the microphone for every inaugural parade in Washington, DC, since 1957, when Dwight D. Eisenhower was sworn in for his second term. He’s announced the Inauguration parades for presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Regan, Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama.

Obama’s second Inauguration was the 16th time he sat in the announcer’s chair for an Inauguration.
