Herbie Hancock is a 14-time Grammy winner, Oscar winner and Kennedy Center honoree. Even the iconic Miles Davis called him the most instrumental figure in music of this era.

He has just written a book that is educating, motivating and fascinating called “Possibilities.” His book is about the different experiences in his life that helped enlighten him. Herbie explains how his life has been full of decision-making and how those choices have helped move his life forward.

Find out how Herbie’s love of music helped draw him to Buddhism more than 40 years ago and why he credits it with helping him have better and more “on” days than he did before, particularly when it comes to performing “magical” music.

Now 74, Herbie explains why he’s always been — and remains — a man who likes to take risks. He tells us how his old boss, Miles Davis, paid him to experiment and to always try new things.
