When you do what you love with passion and hope, and you work to change lives, amazing things can happen. We’re very proud to announce that a video featuring our own Wendy Chioji and airing as part of Growing Bolder TV has won two Telly awards!

The Telly Awards honor the very best film & video productions, groundbreaking online video content, and outstanding local, regional, & cable tv commercials and programs.

The judged honored the video’s producers, PPD, with a silver award in the health and wellness category as well as a bronze award in the pharmaceuticals category (regional TV and multi-market cable).

Wendy Chioji, host of Surviving & Thriving, battled and beat breast cancer, becoming passionate about the impact of clinical trials during that journey. She has worked tirelessly as a fundraiser and advocate for the advancement of cancer research and trials. Currently, she is fighting a recurrence of thymic carcinoma, and is actively involved in a clinical trial and drug treatment for the disease.
