This summer, aviation legend Joe Kittinger will celebrate an amazing, and so far, unmatched feat. In August 1960, Joe became the first human to travel to space and then he did the unthinkable — he jumped out of a helium balloon and plummeted from the edge of space back down to the Earth.

His jump set records for the highest parachute jump and the longest and fastest freefall. And those records have stood for 50 years.

Now, Growing Bolder is teaming up with Joe as he prepares to celebrate this momentous anniversary and pass the torch to a new generation. We’re working with the National Skydiving Museum to organize a very special celebration to benefit two of Joe’s favorite organizations.
