It’s not unusual to drive at the age of 70, but Morgan Shepherd does it at 200 mph with in-car temperatures above 150 degrees while racing against the best drivers on the planet.

Since his driving career began more than 40 years ago, he’s driven against the greatest drivers of all time, including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards in recent years.

Over the years, Morgan has competed in more than 1,000 races, winning more than 200 of them, including 107 top 5 finishes. Plus, he won the NASCAR Championship a few years ago.

But Morgan says there’s one relationship that’s more important to him than the one he has with No. 89 car — his relationship with the Lord.

Morgan says he was saved in 1975 and it changed his life forever. He’s now dedicated his life to encouraging people to better themselves, not only spiritually but also getting more active and exercising more.
