Nola Ochs didn’t set out to make history but that’s exactly what she did.

In May 2007, she became the oldest person to graduate from college in the history of the world.

The 95-year-old graduated from Fort Hays State University in Kansas 77 years after she first started taking classes.

She talked to Growing Bolder about going back to school with students 75 years her junior and how she’s managed to already line up a job.

Editor’s Note: Nola passed away in 2016 at the age of 105.
