Oleda Baker became a model very late in the game, at age 26, and almost immediately, she became a supermodel with the prestigious Wilhelmina Model Agency in New York.

She is the author of 10 books on health and beauty, she’s written a novel, she’s the founder and CEO of her own health and beauty products company and she’s an artist whose oil paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries around the country.

She is obviously not afraid to take a risk, even at the age of 79. Which is why we love her. Her newest project is blogging for Team GB Elite.

We check in via Skype with Oleda to find out how she feels about her upcoming 80th birthday. And she’s heard what the naysayers have had to say about her appearance. Has she had a facelift? Has she had other work done on her face? Oleda sets the record straight.
