When she was 67, Patricia Starr decided to bike 2,600 miles across America. She was not a seasoned cyclist. She just wanted to accomplish a lifelong dream and in the process, inspire other people that age is just a number.

Now 72, Patricia is a musician, a beauty queen and an author. Her new book, “An Angel on My Handlebars,” describes her life-changing cross-country bike trip, including a spiritual experience during a thunderstorm in the Arizona desert.

Patricia explains whey she has taken these cross-country trips, not once but twice, and how we can all be on the look-out for our own awakenings.
