The last time we caught up with former NFL great Reggie Williams, he was just days away from achieving his impossible dream — running for the first time in 10 years on a leg that doctors said should be amputated.

Two potentially fatal setbacks had him fighting a bigger battle — one for his life, but this is a man who doesn’t back down. Reggie built a career on overcoming long odds and his retirement from football has been one major health challenge after another. But he’s still here, still fighting and gathering the strength for what may be his biggest challenge yet.

Bonus: we sit down with Reggie to remember his friend Muhammad Ali. Reggie explains how a chance meeting with the boxing great at an airport inspired him, then a young college player, to chase his dreams. Find out how that conversation not only led to a decades-long friendship, it changed the entire direction of Williams’ life.
