Richard Burns was a real life Mad Men. As an advertising executive in the 1960s and ’70s, he put the smile on PSA Airplanes and helped create what would become a cultural icon: the talking Fruit of the Loom models.

At the age of 38, he was struck down with a massive stroke and declared dead. He miraculously regained consciousness and was given a second chance at life.

What has he done with it? For starters, he’s published his memoir, “Live or Die: A Stroke of Good Luck.”

Richard joins us to describe his stroke and explains how his situation was so dire, his wife even wrote his obituary for the papers.

Find out what he wants everyone to know about strokes.
