While most successful singers made records as real people, Ron Dante was a lead singer for the Archies, a cartoon band of fictional characters. But that didn’t stop him from recording No. 1 hits. 

Now, Dante is known as one of the most successful producers in music history and has made hits with best in the industry: Barry Manilow, Cher, Dionne Warwick and John Denver, among others. 

What most people don’t know is that Dante can also sing like a woman. He sang songs portrayed by female vocalists in a falsetto voice. 

Dante has made his mark on all aspects of the music industry. He even produced the Tony Award-winning Broadway play “Ain’t Misbehavin’.”
