Ever think of jumping out of a plane? It turns out, one of the fastest-growing groups of skydivers is people over the age of 40, and they’re not only taking the leap, they’re breaking records!

Russ Manhold is a member of SOS, Skydivers Over Sixty. He and a team of daredevils recently smashed the record for jumping in formation when everyone involved is over the age of 60, a feat documented by Growing Bolder.

Manhold says that he got into the sport trying to “impress a girl,” and encourages anyone who’s looking for a little fun to give his extreme sport a try — at any age!
