The dynamic Sally Kellerman has had a thriving career for more than three decades in television, films and commercials. She shot to stardom with her unforgettable role as Maj. Margaret “Hot Lips” O’Houlihan in the Robert Altman movie “M*A*S*H”, for which she was nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe.
Her latest project is a return to her roots. Her new CD, “Sally,” will soon be available across the country, but you don’t have to wait because Growing Bolder is providing you with a special sample.
It’s been nearly 30 years since her first album was released, but Sally says she has continued to perform over the years, including shows at Carnegie Hall and a show organized by the late Altman. It wasn’t until recently that she felt she finally knew who she was, and it was only then that she felt she was ready to record another album.
She says despite her acting success, singing was a passion that never died. Sally says she doesn’t know if she was a late bloomer or a slow learner, but whatever the case, she’s having the time of her life.
She’s also followed her passions in her personal life. She says she and her husband were the original Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher. He was 16 years younger than her and in his 20s when they got married. Thirty years later, their marriage is still going strong.
