Shea Vaughn is an author, speaker and fitness and wellness expert who is all about creating well-being at any age.

She has created something called SheaNetics, which she says ignites our potential to look and feel our very best.

She’s the author of book, “Shea Vaughn’s Breakthrough: The 5 Living Principles to Defeat Stress, Look Great and Find Total Well-Being.”

She’s also the mother of actor Vince Vaughn.

Shea says the breakthrough is that moment in time when you pause and say “I get it.” Sometimes we walk around thinking our perceptions are the realities and we find out that that’s not true, Shea says.

Shea says when we experience that breakthrough, it’s going to give us the answers and solutions for things we’ve been carrying around for years and open up the doors so we can live the life we were meant to live.

She explains how she had that breakthrough when creating her new SheaNetics program, which combines eastern philosophies with a western lifestyle. She uses elements of yoga, pilates, tai chi and more.

Shea says she knows that nobody has enough time to go take pilates for an hour, then yoga for an hour, then a dance class for an hour. So she decided to combine all the different formats in one hour, which gives you a full body workout.

She explains why she thinks we’re going to see more and more mind-body workouts and why workouts like this are sustainable for the long term for many more people than intense body-only workouts.
