Country music legend Tanya Tucker is back with her first album in eight years. It’s called, “My Turn,” and it’s a collection of classic songs recorded by male artists, redone Tucker-style!

It’s a long-awaited return for Tucker, who’s been away tending to her health and recovering from the loss of her father, who was also her manager. Tucker burst onto the scene with the hit record, “Delta Dawn.” She was just 13 years old and at the top of the charts.

In the ’70s and ’80s she battled drug and alcohol abuse and along the way she says she learned a lot about the power of perseverance. She hopes this album is just the beginning, as she is planning a number of projects that will keep her in the public eye for quite a while.
