What would you do if you were told you had three years to live?

When Tina Stull received that terrifying diagnosis in 2002, she got busy living.

Like many people, she said she had just been going through the motions of day-to-day living. She was busy raising her daughter and caring for her quadriplegic husband.

But she had a dream. A dream with speed. She had gotten her license and a cart sitting in her driveway but she just couldn’t get motivation to get to the track.

But that changed after her cancer diagnosis.

Now, not only did she beat cancer, but now she’s a National Hot Rod Association Super Comp Dragster driver.

Tina explains how she was diagnosed with cutaneous T-cell lymphoma and how it suddenly burst the bubble of her life. She says having an expiration date made her realize it was now or never to live her dreams and create a legacy for her daughter.

“I figured I might die, but I’m going to take everything out on my way out,” Tina told Growing Bolder.

She offers advice about what she learned during that period, including how she finally learned to cut down on the commitments in her life that were draining her time and energy.
