From Dust to Diamonds: How Do You Want to Be Buried?

 

A few years ago, we attended the National Funeral Directors Convention, in a piece we called “Rethink Your Final Resting Place.”

In that story, we showed you some of the alternatives that many men and women are choosing to a traditional burial.

Want to be sent to space? You can go to infinity and beyond!

Like going green? There are some eco-friendly options, including being buried in a woven seagrass coffin or even a pod created from newspapers.

Have a favorite sports team? Why not get a custom casket?

And one option got a lot of attention when we shared it — taking remains and making them into diamonds.

Sound crazy? Maybe not! Yet another company has stepped into offer this service, and it’s creating quite a buzz. So, what do you think?
