Kimberly Ward lived with a hole in her heart for 40 years, never realizing it was there until it was almost too late. An eye doctor actually diagnosed her based upon temporary bouts with blindness. Last year, at 42, Kimberly underwent open heart surgery and now is thrilled to know she can be active again and here to raise her young daughter.
