When doctors discovered Greg Anderson’s cancer, it was so advanced and so far along, his doctor came to him and said, “I’m so sorry but you’ve got about 30 days to live.”

That was nearly 30 years ago.

Greg went on to become one of the world’s greatest wellness pioneers, creating one of the largest and most important cancer organizations in the world — Cancer Recovery Foundation International.

After his diagnosis, as he lay on what he thought was his deathbed, he started talking to other survivors, asking them what they’d done, how they’d made it through and what had made the biggest difference in their recoveries.

Over and over again, three themes emerged:
1) Great medical care
2) Diet
3) Exercise.

Greg says he’s come to understand that exercise serves as a live signal to the body. Even when he was so weak from the pain, he started doing the only thing he could do — the back stroke arm motions, from a chair. Doing that simple stroke, 10 at a time, started something in his body that got the engines revving again.

He also explains the simple but what he believes were life-saving changes he made to his diet. He’s says it’s not about going on a diet, but about adapting to a more plant-based focus.

Find out why he wants to see others start taking the focus off the cancer itself and put it more on the whole person.

“Whether you’re going through life-threatening cancer or you’re just trying to bring more esprit, more joy into your life, simple things done well, done regularly make the big difference. That’s the key not only to health but to life,” Greg says.
