During their heyday in the 1980s, the Little River Band sold more than 30 million records and had a dozen Top 40 hits, including Take It Easy on Me, Lonesome Loser and Reminiscing.

The band has had a number of personnel changes over the years. In fact, more than a dozen musicians have officially been a part of the band, but only one has been there since 1979 — singer Wayne Nelson. Why is he keeping the band going? He explains why it’s all about the music.

Catch up with a voice you’ve loved for years and find out what life is like on the road in his late 60s.

He also explains how he and his family survived the unimaginable — the death of her teenage daughter in a car accident when she was just 13. Wayne offers what he learned during the experience and how he was able to move forward in life.
