If you’ve ever had a big thought, idea or dream, only to think of a million reasons why if you tried to make it a reality you would probably fail, you’ll be especially interested in this story.
Jenn Ross’ dream was to open a restaurant, a vegan restaurant in an economically disadvantaged area. Everyone advised her against it. But she decided to give it a try.
Oh, did we mention that she has NO restaurant experience of any kind? Today, DaJen Eats isn’t just a dream, it’s a new favorite foodie hot spot in one of the nation’s top food cities. Jenn’s story is an example of what can happen when you choose to take a risk, follow your passion and make a difference!
Growing Bolder is proud to present this story as part of our partnership with the Winter Park Health Foundation and its forthcoming Center for Health & Wellbeing. Together, we’re building the Wellbeing Network, an online, go-to resource for education, motivation, and real-life stories featuring the seven dimensions of wellbeing: those integral parts of our mind, body, and spirit that form the very essence of our wellbeing, and need life-long nurturing. The Wellbeing Network is a way for the community at large to access resources, education and information offered at the Center for Health & Wellbeing.
We also invite you to stay updated on this project via the Center’s social medial channels. No matter where you live, you’ll get frequent doses of inspirational content to help you on your own journey to health and wellbeing.
